Equipment

Generator Systems We Install

10kW – 26kW

Air-Cooled Standby Generators

Most single-family homes under 3,000 sq ft

Air-cooled units are the most common residential choice. They run on natural gas or propane, start automatically within seconds of grid failure, and require minimal maintenance. Ideal for powering essential circuits or whole-home coverage on smaller footprints.

Key Features
  • Automatic transfer in under 10 seconds
  • Natural gas or LP fuel
  • Annual maintenance required
  • 5-year limited warranty
22kW – 150kW

Liquid-Cooled Standby Generators

Larger homes, multi-family, and light commercial

Liquid-cooled generators are engineered for continuous-duty operation and larger electrical loads. They run quieter, last longer, and handle the demands of larger homes with electric HVAC, EV chargers, and high-draw appliances without breaking a sweat.

Key Features
  • Continuous-duty rated
  • Quieter operation than air-cooled
  • Extended service intervals
  • Up to 10-year limited warranty
100A – 400A

Transfer Switches

Required for every standby installation

A properly sized automatic transfer switch is the brain of your backup power system. It monitors utility voltage, signals the generator to start, and transfers your home's load safely — all without you touching a switch. We size and install transfer switches to match your panel and generator.

Key Features
  • Automatic operation
  • Utility-grade switching
  • Code-compliant installation
  • Compatible with all major brands
The Basics

What Is a Standby Generator?

A standby generator is a permanently installed backup power system connected directly to your home's electrical panel and fuel supply. Unlike a portable generator you drag out of the garage, a standby unit monitors your utility power 24/7 and starts automatically — typically within 10 seconds of an outage — without any action on your part.

It runs on natural gas or propane from your existing supply line, so there's no fuel to store and no extension cords to run. When utility power is restored, the generator shuts itself off and transfers your home back to the grid automatically.

Automatic Operation
Detects an outage and starts within seconds — no switches to flip, no action required from you.
Whole-Home or Essential Circuits
Size it to power everything — HVAC, appliances, lights — or just the circuits that matter most.
Runs on Natural Gas or Propane
Connected to your existing fuel line. No stored gasoline, no refueling during a storm.
Permanently Installed
Mounted on a concrete pad beside your home, wired to your panel, and ready year-round.
Weekly Self-Test
Runs a brief exercise cycle automatically each week to confirm it's ready when you need it.
Our Process

How We Size Your System

Generator sizing is not guesswork. We perform a full load calculation based on your home's square footage, HVAC type, appliances, and any special loads like EV chargers or medical equipment. Undersizing a generator causes overloads; oversizing wastes fuel and money.

01

On-Site Load Assessment

We audit your electrical panel and identify critical vs. non-critical circuits.

02

Load Calculation

We calculate starting and running wattage for your specific appliances and HVAC system.

03

System Recommendation

We recommend the minimum generator size that covers your load with a safe margin.

04

Written Quote

You receive a detailed written quote covering equipment, installation, permits, and warranty.
